We are getting some things checked off the to do list. The trim on the guest house is almost completed. It was a brick red. I didn't like the contrast with the dessert rose stucco. It's now a sage green and looks ever so much better and more natural hidden in the pines.
Today the apple trees went in. We have two of them and are looking forward to apples in a couple of years.
The alpaca barn has only a small amount of trim left to be painted. Rock is working on the run in shed for the alpacas. He had quiet a fall and we got to spend a fun Friday evening in the emergency room. Going out to dinner would have been preferable, but it was an experience. He is just about healed up.
We have three additions to Winter's Hope. Three alpacas are coming from Tres Amigos in Colorado. It will be in the spring before they make their move here as we need to put an addition onto the barn, not unlike adding a new bedroom for more kids!
