Hay Day

We spent yesterday getting our hay.  It was an all day project to drive to pick it up, load it, unload it and stack it in the hay barn.  Rock worked really hard.  In the middle of unloading we had a nice thunderstorm, complete with hail.  Since we've been so dry, we did not complain, but it meant that we had to finish loading it into the hay barn way early this morning.  We locked in a large load at a low price, which made all the work very worth the effort.  It is comforting to know that there enough hay for the winter, and we won't have to be scrounging to find good hay when the snow is blowing.

And speaking of snow, we are supposed to have snow on the mountain this weekend.  It won't be much, but we'll be happy to see it.
