I have been remiss about posting on the blog. There has been lots of good things happening and taken me away from the computer. I thought I would start back with a "Did you know" series about alpacas. It will motivate me to get back to regular posting, maybe be informative and get you ready for "Alpaca Open Farm Days September 24 and 25, 2011.
Did you know?
Alpacas are some of the "greenest" livestock animals. One of the reasons we say that is the way they eat. They do not pull grass up by it's roots, so it can grow back again. They also have soft toe pads instead of hard hooves, doing less damage to the ground.
