Chances of evaculation due to fire are less today

Today's weather is a big reprieve for us. The winds have died down here from 50 mph to maybe 15. Our temperatures are cooler. We actually have cloud cover, which is so welcome. The humidity is up to 20 something...downright muggy for here. We even had a teasing of mist..practicing for rain I guess.

Santa Fe's fire is still uncontained. It roared yesterday with all the winds. They had to pull out all aerial support because of those winds. They hope to get them back in the air again this morning. They are supposed to have higher winds than we are. All the fire fighters have to be exhausted as crews have been going long and hard in all the many fires throughout the state. Resources are so stretched there was little
additional assistance for the Caverns' fire.

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. Please continue to keep all those, especially the animals, affected by these fires in your prayers.
